Stuck in Cyber Siberia...Still!

I was so hoping to come here with a lovely blog post today, but the Casa Garcia Mac is still at the Apple Store for repair. The holiday season has slowed them down a bit, so this was an especially bad time for the computer to go on the fritz...not that there's ever a truly good time! I'm dying to blog, but have no way to get pictures from my Mac onto another computer, and what good is a recipe without a few mouth-watering pictures to go with?

I have a blog post all written and ready to post. All I need is the computer to access all the pictures! In the meantime, I hope you all had a lovely New Year's Eve and long holiday weekend. It's back to a 40-hour work week for me, and I'm trying to find the up side to having no home computer access. It's a bit like being on Little House on the Prairie, except we have a high-def TV and Blu-Ray player to occupy our time. Add in some movies -- courtesy of AMC gift cards for Christmas -- and we're making do and keeping busy. And to think I was 30ish before I even owned a PC!

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't getting a bit twitchy from lack of blogging...hopefully I'll be back in business by Wednesday. That's the latest estimate from the good folks at the Apple Store. In the meantime...tell me what foods/recipes you'd like to see me feature in here this month. I'll likely emphasize lighter fare with my Weekend Gourmet spin for January and February since the old pants are a bit snug after a few weeks of holiday indulging!!

  2. Lack of blogging can make a person twitchy. Especially such a good foodie! Hopefully they will free the repaired Mac soon.

  4. Hope that your computer is up and running. I had a virus in the summer, so I was without a PC for a week, with no computer, bummer.
