Urban Bricks Pizza and Firenza Pizza Offer Pi Day Special #WGDinesOut #piday #pizza #$3.14pizza

Disclosure: I received a complimentary meal at my local Urban Bricks Pizza Co. location earlier this week to facilitate this post. A personal note from The Weekend Gourmet: With the coronavirus pandemic currently taking place, PLEASE make your best determination regarding whether YOU should dine out at this time. If you're experiencing a fever or any other COVID-19 symptoms, please do not go out in public and risk making others sick!

Today is Pi Day -- 3/14! That means today only, Urban Bricks and Firenza Pizza can purchase 10"-11" inch whole pizzas for just $3.14 all day at all locations! For the fifth year in a row, Urban Bricks customers can customize their pizza ANY WAY -- choosing from crust varieties, toppings, sauces, meats and cheeses, and veggies for only $3.14. Firenza customers can purchase $3.14 cheese pizzas. Founded in 2015 here in San Antonio, Urban Bricks serves customizable pizzas, pasta, paninis, and salads. If you can imagine it, they can create it! They use handmade dough and 30+ ingredients that are prepared fresh each morning.

We visited a San Antonio Urban Bricks Pizza location for lunch yesterday to give their personalized pizza creation process a try. It was so much fun! You start at the front of the line and pick your crust. From there, you select a sauce...then cheeses and create your personal dream pizza. Michael made a spicy creation that started with the spicy red, which he topped with fresh basil.
From there, he added a trio of cheeses: feta, parmesan, and mozzarella. Then came the classic duo of pepperoni and Italian sausage. He finished his pizza with red bell pepper, purple onion, sliced jalapenos, and fresh garlic. For one low price, Urban Bricks customers can add as many toppings as they like! They even offer vegan cheese for vegan customers.
From there, his pizza went into the wood burning oven. The temperature inside the oven is so high that each pizza cooks in about 2 minutes. Once out of the oven, guests can choose a drizzle to top their pizza -- including balsamic, ranch, and pesto. Michael opted for their pesto drizzle.

In case you're wondering, I went with a meatless veggie pizza with the creamy Alfredo-like white sauce. My pizza was topped with spinach; creamy ricotta, shaved parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses; purple onion, mushrooms, and sliced tomato. I also went with the vibrant green pesto drizzle after baking. This video shows my pizza creation process from start to finish:

Both pizzas were absolutely delicious! The thin crust was crispy on the bottom, but was tender enough that we could eat the entire slice...crust and all. The toppings were fresh and flavorful...we'll DEFINITELY be coming back to create even more yummy Urban Bricks pizzas! We even had enough pizza left to take home for our dinner that evening, and it reheated perfectly in our air fryer.

A few quick things to keep in mind about the Urban Bricks and Firenza Pi Day promotion. First, guests must sign up for the FREE Urban Bricks rewards (via their app) or Firenza rewards (via their website) to receive their $3.14 pizza. Second, this special offer is for one pizza per person. Exclusions include gluten-free crusts, and online or phone orders. Finally, this offer cannot be combined with other deals.
