Easy Holiday Goodies...Featuring Santa's Favorite Holiday Bark #holidaygoodies #nobake #easybake #kidsinthekitchen #santaapproved

Can you BELIEVE that Christmas Eve...and Chrismas Day are here in in exactly one week?!?!? The holiday season has gone whooshing by...so it's time for me to share one of my favorite easy-to-make, no-bake holiday goodies! My Santa's Favorite Holiday Bark is a snap to make...and it's chock full of festive holiday flavors and colors! If you can melt chocolate, you can definitely whip up a batch of this candy! It's assembled in less than 30 minutes. Then? Let the pan set in the fridge for at least 3o minutes before breaking into pieces. The finished bark can be stored in a covered tin for up to a week. This bark is also an excellent kid-friendly kitchen project for your little ones to help out with. If you know anyone who's a peppermint fiend like me, they'll absolutely love this bark. The best part? It's super easy to modify my recipe to include items currently on hand in your pantry. Feel free to sub in whatever holiday toppings your family prefers to make this candy uniquely yours!!

Santa's Favorite Holiday Bark
a Weekend Gourmet Original
Ingredients:
  • 1o-ounce bag semisweet chocolate chips
  • 10-ounce bag white chocolate-peppermint candy melt discs OR  white baking chips
  • 1 cup peppermint mini marshmallows
  • 8 mint-flavored cream-filled cookies
  • 8 ounces red and green mint candy-coated chocolate candies
  • Festive holiday sprinkles
Directions:
Step 1: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Melt the chocolate chips in a bowl in the microwave in 30-second intervals. Stir and repeat until the chocolate chips are melted. Let cool slightly, then stir in the marshmallows and stir to combine...be careful that the marshmallows don't melt. Melt the peppermint candy discs/baking chips and dollop on top of the dark chocolate. Using a spatula, swirl the semisweet and white chocolate together.
Step 2: Chop the cookies into quarters and evenly distribute on top of the melted chocolate. Add the chocolate candies and sprinkles to the top of the bark as well. Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, about 30 minutes. Break into pieces and serve.
This minty bark is pretty much instant holiday gratification! . Every bite is like a mini holiday gift and features a variety of flavors and textures. Santa would definitely be thrilled to find a plate of this awesome bark when he stops by to fill your stockings next week!
